A number of years ago I was privileged enough to ask Charlie Kirk a question in person, though at the time I merely regarded myself as fortunate. This was during the groyper wars against Conservatism Inc, when, at the behest of Andrew Anglin, I attended one of Kirk’s events, where in the Q&A I and others like me challenged Kirk from the right on issues such as his then support for open borders and Israel no matter the consequences. Kirk at the time was little more than a mouthpiece for the corrupt conservative establishment, a pinata for the hard right to make an example of. To his great credit, however, over time he adjusted his views in the years since to become increasingly realistic regarding difficult truths of our age. To his equally great credit he never compromised his principles or positivity, unlike many others on the right.

Kirk’s assassination was a shock in the moment, but unsurprising in the zeitgeist, one in which the sitting president had survived multiple attempts on his life in his election campaign the previous year. Such acts have a silver lining: They result from the efficacy of both figures. Both Kirk and Trump were and are eroding two key bases of support for the left: The young and the non-white. Through his class, sincerity, and command of facts and logic, Kirk exposed the viciousness of his leftist attackers on college campuses all across the country, often by sheer contrast with his goodness. His approach mobilized millions of young people to fight back against those hellbent on destroying their future. I know that millions of others were as saddened and angered as I was when hearing he’d been shot. In prescience of the eeriest sort possible, one of Kirk’s last tweets was this.

The barbaric murder of Iryna Zarutska only a few days before had sparked national outrage. Acts like that committed by Decarlos Brown are nothing new; they have been common for decades, as they are the direct result of that great communist cause celebre, civil rights. What is new however, is that perhaps better than anyother committed recently, this murder was captured in explicit, horrific detail on video, including even smoking gun evidence of racial motivation: audio of Brown saying “I got that white girl.” That video, wherein Brown stabbed Iryna in the throat, together with the closeup video of Kirk taking Tyler Robinson’s bullet in the throat, drove home with thermonuclear force this message: The time for attempting to talk the left into decency is over, and we cannot allow the left power in our country.

There is something that I’ve long held in common with Kirk: A passion for debate with progressivists. While Kirk focused on authoritarian left progressivists in SJWs, I engaged with the progressivist camps adjacent to mine in the libertarian right: the authoritarian right and left libertarians. Having little in the way of notoriety however, my engagement amounted to little more than self-indulgence. Being terminally online, arguing, and complaining is all they really do, so engaging with them, no matter how many arguments you win, actually plays into their hands. Our enemy is the one Kirk confronted head on: The authoritarian leftists who hold the actual power. It is no more productive to argue with them if doing so mobilizes no one to our cause as Kirk was able to do. It is for this reason that in honor of Kirk’s memory I will no longer debate with progressivists that do not elevate my organization’s notoriety. 100% of interaction with them must directly further the cause of destroying them in real life.

The first enemies we need to deal with are the blackpillers, demoralizers, and “nothing ever happens-ists” who purport to be on our side. Their expectation is that if an event does not result in us getting everything we want immediately, it is of no significance. This is so pitifully ridiculous that the best way to deal with such people is to ignore them. If the events of last week have not roused them then nothing ever will. The next enemies are the remaining cucks in the conservative and GOP establishment who plea for “unity” with the left, especially those who opportunistically exploit Kirk’s sacrifice to try and contain the “extremists” in us. They are to be primaried and defunded, and we shall proceed in full with cancelling the left; whimpering appeals to false equivalence notwithstanding. Those remaining need to pull out all the stops to push Trump across the Rubicon and end this farce we call liberal democracy. While it is critical to honor Kirk’s memory with potent symbolism such as Lomez’ proposal to name a national park in Utah for him, there is also a risk that Republicans will content themselves with mere symbolism rather than striking while the iron is hot and taking bold, decisive action to crush our political enemies. Something that is immediately actionable is invoking the Communist Control Act of 1954 to dissolve the Democratic Socialists of America, with which Tyler Robinson was affiliated, along with Antifa, BLM, and all other like organizations. When Democratic Party members obstruct this process, of which there will be many, they too can be arrested. Through long term attrition of this kind the Democratic Party will eventually be hollowed out, leaving only puppet opposition whose identity is preserving middle class entitlements like Social Security and Medicare. For far too long conservatives have moaned “imagine if the roles were reversed!” This is how we actually reverse them. Charlie and and family deserve no less.
